Another short one from me today regarding Battlefleet Gothic looking at the beginning of my 3 cruisers. More after the break.

Frozen vengence Battle Report, 1800 points Orks vs Imperial Guard

Today I've finally (after many months) finished the battle report for the game Vs Dave's Imperial Guard.
This is the final game of the campaign’s first turn, and happened the week before scoring. As a challenge game I got to choose the location and points value so the battle continues on Jellico's Watch.
So read on after the break to see what happened.

Shoota Boyz Done

Just a quick one this morning. Around the time I finished Gargshuv Mek’gubbinz I had begun work on my first 5 boyz with shootas. They didn't take me long to do and I'm happy with how they've turned out so I hope you enjoy them.
You'll also notice I've based them up so they, like Gargshuv, are 100% complete.

Posters, Signs and details Part 2

Some time ago I posted up this, talking about how I approach the details and posters for my terrain. After the break I’m going to continue that line of thought and go into some of my own poster creations and how I gather images to use. Along with my attempts to portray what life was like before war came with food, motivational and other posters that you would expect to see in a normal imperial city.

Gargshuv Mek’gubbinz fully finished

When last I shared him Gargshuv had just been undercoated. It took me a while but I finally finished him, just before shooting the video I shared yesterday and it only took a trip to GW HQ to do it...
Take a look after the break.

A New Chapter.

So it’s been around 3 months since I last managed to post. As I may have mentioned I was made redundant in April and since then things have been quite busy. While working writing up a post was a good way to take a break from working and help clear my head as I went from task to task, when at home with many pressures on my time it became more of a chore.

So the good news is that I have a new job…. Yay. With that in mind I may even get more regular posts done, in part due to arriving to work early (thanks to child care arrangements), lunch time or just jotting a word or two down when I get narked at one piece of software or another.

However since this is a hobby blog, and not this is Dan’s life, after the break I’d like to share the following video of the painting desk and some of the things that were sitting on it a couple of weeks back.
